When my son left for Canada he was so quiet and shy. When he came back he was not. He came back filled with stories of everything he and the other campers did in Vancouver. He now speaks English with confidence but, more importantly to me, he also has confidence in what he does. He is more willing to try things. He is almost a different boy. I think this camp experience was the best thing I ever chose for him to do.

My daughter came back from Camp Confidence with confidence and with plans. She told me she wants to go to university in Canada. Her English is also so good; I am glad she went to Camp Confidence. I recommend it for every one.
Teachers
Teacher Paul
Watching how the children grow and develop their confidence is why I love teaching for Camp Confidence.

I used to be scared to talk English outside of school. Now I am not. This is because when we were in Canada we went everywhere by public bus and we had lots of chances to talk with Canadians. At first it seemed difficult because everything sounded so fast but teacher Gary said I would get used to it and I did. I had a lot of fun. I am going to study English in Vancouver when I get older.

I had a lot of fun. The people are nice. The teachers are so friendly. I liked the park and the ropes class at the university. I want to come back next summer.

Teacher Gary and Teacher Paul are so funny. We learned many new games and we went everywhere. I met a lot of Canadians and they are so friendly. I tried food from different countries. I love the tie-dye shirt we made and the group flag. I think Canada is a good country. I want to go back next year.
