Hess International Young Learners Schools

Hess International Young Learners School has three programs: Toddlers, a one-year program; Rainbow Adventures, a three-year bilingual program and Love It!, an all-day English program. The Bilingual Program instructs children in English in the morning and Mandarin in the afternoon. All Day English has the same developmental goals as the Bilingual Program, but with English as the main language of instruction in both morning and afternoon sessions. Toddlers is appropriate for two to three-year-old children.

Rainbow Adventures and Love It! are both three-year programs. They have three levels: Young, Middle and Big class, with two semesters in each. Students should be three years old to enter Young Class, four to enter Middle and five before beginning Big Class.

All of our Hess International Young Learner programs follow our philosophy to educate the "whole child"; all facets of a child’s cognitive, emotional and physical abilities are nurtured. It is also really important to us when we are designing our programs and training our teachers that the leaps and bounds that our young learners make in English during their preschool days will not be simply forgotten a year or two later. One of the principal advantages enjoyed by children studying at Hess International Young Learners Schools is that we offer two well established primary school English programs in our Hess Young Scholars Schools (Tree House and Club House), which are especially designed for students who have graduated from an English preschool.
